Eva Alikaj lindi në Tiranë më 25 prill 1961. Kur ishte vetëm 21 vjeç, fitoi Kupën si Aktorja më e mirë e Festivalit V të Filmit Artistik Shqiptar, me filmin “Njeriu i mirë” (1982).
Një vit më pas, u diplomua për aktore në Akademinë e Arteve të Tiranës dhe iu bashkua trupës së Teatrit Kombëtar.
E shfaqur rrallë në skenën shqiptare, Eva Alikaj nuk ka ndryshuar shumë nga ajo që ka qenë më parë, teksa duket sërish si një vajzë lajkatare dhe e këndshme,
