Amanda dhe burri i saj nga Sydney, Australia,kursyen për të blerë shtëpinë e tyre të ëndërrave. Çifti kaloi dy vjet duke e rinovuar këtë banesë për ta kthyer ate ne nje shtëpi të përsosur. Ata u përpoqën per tu bere me femije gati tre vjet. Abort pas aborti, Amanda, me ne fund mbeti shtatzënë dhe gjithçka po shkonte mirë. Në një çast, gjithçka ndryshoi. Bota e Amandës u shemb në një moment të tmerrshëm.

Burri i saj e la atë për një grua tjetër,duke e lene Amanden ne rruge,me borxhe te medha, pa asnjë të ardhur,te vetme me një fëmijë. Çfarë do të ndodhte me të dhe me fëmijën e saj? Falënderoj Perëndinë për miqtë si Anna. Ajo i qëndronte pranë duke e ndihmuar me te holla.Ajo arriti te stacioni i radios lokale, KIIS dhe u kërkoi atyre të merrnin ne konsiderate situaten e Amandes.

Stacioni i radios e dinte se ata duhej ta ndihmonin Amandën, por nuk mund ta bënin vetëm. Ata iu drejtuan bizneseve lokale për donacione. Të dy Amanda dhe Anna u ftuan në radio,dhe ajo i shpjegoi audiencës se pjesa më e keqe e situatës së saj ishte pasiguria e gjithçkaje.Ajo tregonte e perlotur se kishin kaluar vetem 5 jave kur kishte ndodhur kjo.

Pasi mbaroi historinë e saj, prezantuesja e radios shkoi ne shtepine e re të Amandës. Zonja vuri në dukje gjithçka që Amanda do të merrte,nje fshese me korent,nje frigorifer plot me ushqime,ushqime te siguruara per të tre muajt e ardhshëm kështu që asaj nuk do ti duhej te shkonte neper dyqane ushqimore. Në banak ishin 4,000 dollarë për fëmijën, së bashku me një kupon prej $ 1,000 për fotot e foshnjes.

Por kur kameramani hapi furrën,te gjithe u habiten. Brenda ishte një grumbull parash,nje shume prej $ 10,000 për të qenë të saktë. Këto para ishin për të ndihmuar Amanden. Çfarë dhuratë e pabesueshme!Amanda me lotet qe i rridhnin rreke ne fytyre,nuk gjente fjale per ti falenderuar.

Gjërat kishin ardhur ndryshe nga c’i kishte parashikuar Amanda,por me ndihmën e miqve të mirë dhe të huajve, tani ishte akoma me mire se c’mund te kishte imagjinuar.
