Blerja e një makine ose një shtëpie mund të jetë një vendim i vështirë, sidomos kur eshte e perdorur. Sepse dikush qe e ka pasur atë para jush,mund te kete pasur nje histori te cilen ju nuk e dini. Ju mund te pyesni veten se cfare historie mund te kete pasur ,qe ju kane ofruar nje cmim kaq te ulet.
Pasi një baba vendosi ti blinte një makinë të përdorur vajzes se tij, ai u habit kur gjeti një shënim në kutine e dorezes drejtuar atij.
Vajza e Kevin Dukes sapo kishte mbushur gjashtëmbëdhjetë disa jave me pare,keshtu qe babai vendosi ti dhuroje nje makine ,duke shkuar tek tregtari i makinave të përdorura për të marrë një makinë për ditëlindjen e saj. Ai tashmë mund të shohë buzëqeshjen në fytyrën e saj.
Para se të blinte ndonjë makine, ai e inspektoi me imtesi automjetin e përdorur sepse ishte vajza e tij që do ta përdorte atë. Ai kontrrolloi cdo vend te makines,e provoi dhe më në fund vendosi se ishte e kënaqshme për vajzën e tij të vogël.
Më vonë, pasi bleu makinën e përdorur, ai hapi kutinë e dorezës dhe pa nje zarf.Ai nuk mund të besonte se si e kishte humbur ate detaj,pasi e hapi kutine per here te gjashte.
Ne zarf shkruhej “Pronarit të Ri të Makinave”. Dhe zarfi pohonte se kishte “Informacion të rëndësishëm brenda”.
Pasi bleu makinën për vajzën e tij, Kevin e hapi menjëherë.
Letra përshkroi se pronari i mëparshëm i makinës ishte nëna e shkrimtarit. Letra tha se makina ishte gjithmonë e veçantë për nënën. Dhe makina ishte dicka e perzemert e shkrimtarit. Por pas humbjes së nënës, tezes së saj dhe vajzës së saj gjashtëvjeçare në një zjarr shkaterrues qe kishte rene ne shtepi, shkrimtari u detyrua të shiste makinën për të paguar shpenzimet e varrimit. Shkrimtari i kërkoi Kevin dhe vajzës së tij ta cmojne makinën dhe ta ngasin me krenari në perkujtim te nënës së vdekur të shkrimtarit.
